This is a model 1889 Danish officer military shako produced by the well known tailor C. L. Seifert of Copenhagen who was personal tailor to the Danish Royal family. Wool body with gilt trim, brass hat badge, brass ring chin scales and leather visor with gold trim piping. Interior with blue silk lining, leather sweatband and gold maker markings for C. L. SEIFERT. Size is approximately US 7 (56cm).
